Vote at the BOE Before Election Day

For the vast majority of voters, absentee voting begins 28 days prior to Election Day. There are exceptions for Military and Overseas Civilians.

Anyone who is registered to vote in Ohio and resides in Hamilton County can come to the Board of Elections Office located at 824 Broadway Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 and cast their vote early.


Voting in Person - Absentee for May 5, 2015 Primary/Special Election

Voting hours are at the Board office – 824 Broadway, downtown, Cincinnati:

Beginning Tuesday, April 7 through May 1; weekdays        8am – 5pm

Saturday, May 2                                                                           8am – noon

Sunday, May 3                                                                             1pm – 5pm

Monday, May 4                                                                             8am – 2pm


There are exceptions for Military voters and voters who are hospitalized or whose minor child is hospitalized due to an accident or unforeseeable medical emergency. Click here if you are a military voter. Contact the Board at the numbers listed above if you or your minor child is in the hospital on Election Day.
