Vote at the BOE Before Election Day

For the vast majority of voters, absentee voting begins 35 days prior to Election Day.  There are exceptions for Military and Overseas Civilians.

Anyone who is registered to vote in Ohio and resides in Hamilton County can come to the Board of Elections Office located at 824 Broadway Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 and cast their vote early.


Absentee/Early Voting hours for November 4th General Election


Weekdays / Sept 30-Oct 17 open 8am-5pm (exception: no early voting Monday, Oct 13)

Weekdays / Oct 20-Oct 31 open 8am-7pm 


Extended hours / Monday Oct 6 open 8am-9pm

Saturdays / Oct 25 & Nov 1 open 8am-4pm

Sundays / Oct 26 & Nov 2 open 1pm-5pm


Monday / Nov 3 open 8am-2pm


There are exceptions for Military voters and voters who are hospitalized or whose minor child is hospitalized due to an accident or unforeseeable medical emergency.  Click here if you are a military voter. Contact the Board at the numbers listed above if you or your minor child is in the hospital on Election Day.
